“No matter where you are in life right now, no matter who you are, no matter how old you are-it is never too late to be who you are meant to be.” – E and J Hicks
I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been in practice for 25 years. I began working with at risk teens, serving as a teen counselor with the Oasis Center’s Teen Outreach Program. I later took a position with the Vanderbilt Department of Psychiatry, where I served as a Psychotherapist, as well as the Clinic Coordinator for the Adult Outpatient Program, where I was ultimately appointed to faculty.
I believe that people have the capacity to change and make improvements in their lives. And, I see myself as a partner in the change process. I am someone that you can trust who will listen with compassion-free from judgment. I am here to support, encourage and motivate you to get the life that you want. I am easy to talk to and I will share with you my thoughts, ideas and strategies to assist you as you move towards change. I will work with you as you uncover problems or concerns and develop solutions that work for you. My office is a safe place where you can be sure that the information you share is kept confidential. I am compassionate and will treat you with respect and understanding.
